Curtains bring happiness to the house and fill it with bright colours if they are chosen stamped. In this article, we explain how to preserve them clean and perfect.

Their maintenance and cleaning depends a lot on the type of weaving used in its making. For the not washable weavings, we will pass the vacuum cleaner occasionally, thus avoiding that the superficial dust penetrates in the fabric. The occasional small spots can be eliminated with a dry foam product.

The fabrics that can be washed with normality, before doing so, should be submerged in cold water with white vinegar (a teaspoon by litre, approximately). In this manner, the colours will be fixed, and it will be avoided that they run. It is, besides, a good remedy to eliminate the dust that has accumulated in the weaving. Subsequently, wash them with lukewarm water, employing soft soap. Rinse them, and add to the water of the last rinse the same quantity of vinegar as in the first soaking, to fix the colours again.
